Leads and performs a variety of duties according to batch record and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) in the pharmaceutical manufacturing department, including but not limited to, operating machines and assisting in the packaging of products.
– At least 1 year experience with operating manufacturing machines – basic maintenance and troubleshooting as well as changeovers
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Stable work history
– Understanding of SOP’s, equipment and safety practices
– Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours
– Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds
– Follows all policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws
– Ensures batch records, equipment log books, and other relevant records are completed correctly and currently
– Adheres to company uniform and gowning policies
– Reports process or equipment problems to area supervision
– Performs changeovers and equipment set-up for processing operations
– Possesses mechanical aptitude and/or ability for basic equipment troubleshooting
