HTI is hosting a hiring event seeking Assembly Operators, CNC Machinists, & Quality Technicians for Solero Technologies in Water Valley, MS. Interested candidates will need to pass a background check and drug screening. *Candidates that live 45+ minutes away from job location will not be eligible due to distance.
When: Thursday, April 18th, 2024 (9 a.m. – 12 p.m. & 1 – 4 p.m.)

What to wear to the event: Dress code is casual (come as you are, but please be presentable)
– Assembly Operator ($12.25 – $13.25/hour)
– CNC Machinist ($12 – 18/hour)
*pay based on experience
– Quality Technician ($12.75 – 13.50/hour)
Assembly Operator:
– 2nd (3 p.m. – 11 p.m.)
– 3rd (11 p.m. – 7 a.m.)
*Hours can vary based on department and production needs (8-12 hour shifts)
CNC Machinist:
– 1st (7 a.m. – 3 p.m.)
– 2nd (3 p.m. – 11 p.m.)
– 3rd (11 p.m. – 7 a.m.)
Quality Technician:
– 2nd (3 p.m. – 11 p.m.)

Requirements
– 6 months experience preferred
– High School Diploma or GED equivalent
– Able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively

Responsibilities
– Follow work instructions in order to manufacture quality products per Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices
– Meet production goals set by the customer
– Assembly line work
– Follow safety standards and policies

Requirements
– High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
– 1 year of CNC experience preferred
– Familiarity with CNC machines and lathes
– Must be mechanically inclined and a hands-on worker
– Able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively
– Able to stand for long periods
– Stable work history
Responsibilities
– Operate a variety of machines/tools to produce precision parts and instruments
– Program mills and lathes by entering instructions and g codes
– Follow safety standards and policies
– Multi-task
– Track and report metrics
– Provide direction to operators and Setups
– Other duties as assigned
Requirements
– GDT Certification and/or Training preferred
– SPC Certification and/or Training preferred
– Blueprint Certification and/or Training preferred
– Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
– Ability to write routing reports and correspondence
– Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of the organization
– Be capable of frequently lifting packages up to forty pounds
Responsibilities
– Record data on a daily log
– Make all set up adjustments on equipment
– Collect and analyze data, maintain charts by plotting data, and recognize points out of control and process shifts
– Demonstrate ability in the use of all gage instruments
– General knowledge of product and component function
– Generate and maintain complete and orderly inspection records
– Set up and perform audit functions on computerized and manual test equipment
– Collect and analyze data, maintain, and analyze process control charts and records accurately and perform capability studies
– Take responsibility for final visual inspection of parts
– Keep up with the defined production rate for the station/operation in the assigned job
– Provide final stamp on parts certifying them as 100% inspected to the work instruction
– Operate test stands, computerized/automated equipment, and other end of line operations associated with the position
– Communicate defects found to the appropriate contacts
