HTI is hosting a hiring event seeking Assemblers and Paint Line Production Associates for IFA in Summerville, SC. Clean, climate-controlled environment. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening to be considered.

– Assemblers & Paint Line Production Associates: $16.00 – $17.25/hour
– 1st Shift (6:30am-2:30pm)

– High School Diploma/GED
– Related experience or training preferred
– At least 2 years of manufacturing experience required
– Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus
– Basic knowledge of industrial machines and gauges
– Familiarity with “lean” production concepts and both metric and English measurement systems
– Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
– Ability to perform repetitive tasks and read/write in English
Physical Requirements:
– Able to move around a large manufacturing facility and stand/walk for most of the time
– Must lift up to 40 lbs frequently and over 40 lbs occasionally
– Must be able to wear safety gear and work with paints/solvents
– Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed
– Operate assembly machines according to instructions
– Manually load and unload machines and containers
– Use gauges to measure product characteristics
– Follow standard operating procedures and quality requirements
– Collect and analyze quality data
– Meet production targets and ensure machine setup meets specifications
– Adhere to safety and housekeeping policies
– Complete required training and certification
– Train and assist new hires as needed
– High School Diploma/GED
– Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
– Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
– Complete necessary paperwork and understand safety and health guidelines
– Ability to read and understand safety documents and notices
Physical Requirements:
– Ability to move around a large facility and perform physical tasks such as lifting (up to 40 lbs frequently, over 40 lbs occasionally), standing, bending, and climbing stairs
– Must be able to work with paints and chemicals and handle noise and hazardous materials
– Work on shifts and overtime as needed
– Assist with various manual labor tasks and support the coating application and production process
– Loading/unloading materials, cleaning equipment, and providing general support
– Report and address any major hazards or injuries immediately
– Follow all SHE standards, use personal protective equipment, and promote a safe work environment
– Complete SHE training and be mindful of environmental impacts
– Adhere to standard procedures and quality guidelines
– Report issues to maintain product quality and control non-conforming materials
– Achieve goals on time and maintain attention to detail
– Communicate effectively with team members and support staff
– Participate in training and contribute to process improvements
– Be flexible with tasks and respectful to colleagues
– Lifting, loading/unloading materials, cleaning equipment, and following process cards
– Ensure safety and operational compliance
– Communicate with other departments and complete assigned task
