HTI is hosting opening interviews seeking Machine Operators, Manufacturing Engineers, and Maintenance Technicians for Direct Hire opportunities at Bosch Tool in Lincolnton, NC. We are offering competitive benefits and multiple shift options! Candidates will have to pass a background check and drug screening to be considered.

Job Openings and Pay Rates

– Machine Operator: $20+

Machine Operator:
– 2nd Shift (2:30pm – 10:30pm)
– 3rd Shift (10:30pm – 6:30am)

Manufacturing Engineer:
– 1st (6:30am – 2:30pm)

Maintenance Technician:
– 2nd Shift (2:30pm – 10:30pm)
– 3rd Shift (10:30pm – 6:30am)

MACHINE OPERATOR

Requirements

– High school diploma or GED
– Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience
– Ability to stand for 8-10 hours
– Proper hand dexterity
– Ability to read and follow instructions
– Ability to life up to 40 lbs. repetitively

Responsibilities

– Assist in operating packing, brazing, and grinding machines
– Clean and maintain machines
– Identify and asses common problem with machines
– Understand proper product flow
– Read and follow procedures pertaining to each machine
– Read and fulfill orders correctly
– Inspect product for quality standards

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

Requirements

– BS degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engr. or 8 years experience
– Hands-on Electro-Mechanical experience in robotics, drives & controls
– High level of teamwork and self-initiative
– Machinery procurement experience
– Strong analytical skills
– Ability to trach and work with all levels of the organization
–Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment
– Effective root cause analysis and problem identification/solving skills
– Discipline and consistency regarding adherence to established company standards, policies, and procedures
– Experience using lean manufacturing principles
– Willing to occasionally travel nationally and internationally for training and supplier visits as required
– Good written and oral communication skills including presentations
– Experience in a manufacturing environment
– Demonstrated ability to work in a highly dynamic organization
– Good interpersonal project management skills
– Ability to clearly summarize and recommend alternative ideas addressing complex issues
– Working knowledge of prints, schematics and equipment documentation to support problem solving, process improvements, problem solving etc.
– Ability and willingness to learn and comprehend new technology related to robotics, drives & controls, digital printings, etc.
– Highly organized self-starter and use good judgement

Responsibilities

– Follow work instructions in order to manufacture quality products per Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices
– Value Stream Support as a Manufacturing Engineer for the installation, growth, and running production of new and existing manufacturing equipment
– Develop and implement projects to support the Value Stream targets in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Costs, CIP, BPS, i4.0
– Create specs/designs for machines and their installation and work closely with suppliers and other engineers
– Support the Value Streams as required to meet company targets related to Safety, Environment, Quality, Delivery, i4.0 and Costs
– Review, improve and initiate operational processes using lean tools, continuously documenting said processes
– Work on the initial machine specification and procurement with purchasing and external suppliers
– Set-up and actively support the preventive maintenance process for equipment and connections
– Total support and ownership from concept through running production
– Review, create, and update documentation related to the machines and equipment as per the requirements
– Lead and actively participate in FMEAs
– Develop training documents and work instructions to support operations and technicians
– Monitor and support all issues regarding operations on real time demand
– Understand and solve process interruptions and document all operational issues
– Support the electrical and mechanical technicians in their daily work to resolve such operational issues
– Lead and implement quality (e.g., Shainin, 8D), cost reduction and efficiency improvement projects
– Develop cost reductions through process improvement based on BPS (lean) guidelines
– Plan and execute changes caused by new suppliers, materials, requirements

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Requirements

– Minimum of four years experience in a similar manufacturing environment working with Control Systems, PLC’s, CNC Controls, Robots, PC’s and HMI’s
– Working knowledge of prints, schematics, and equipment documentation for installation, modification and repair of production equipment
– Working knowledge of machine communications including understanding of communication cables and LAN components
– Full competency in working safely in electrical control panels of various voltage levels
– Qualified to work in electrical panel of 3-phase 480 volts and lower using all proper safety procedures and PPE
– Good computer, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
– Mechanical aptitude
– Communication, teamwork, and strong customer service skills
– Prior Robot School is a strong plus

Responsibilities

– Troubleshoot, install, and repair all aspects of Automatic, Robotic, and CNC machinery
– Troubleshoot and repair Automated Paint Lines, Setting Presses, Automated Welders, CNC Grinders, Robots, and other complex machinery
– Supporting all aspects of equipment and machinery; including PLC programming and program modifications, programming of HMI’s and servo controllers
Job, and reset Fanuc and Denso Robots
– Teach/Touch up robot positions to correct material handling paths
– Plan and install primary and secondary controls, diagnose electrical/electronic problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective control modules, test units for proper function, and make final adjustments
– Prepare wiring diagram to record changes
– Make mechanical repairs as necessary. Some work and repairs require mechanical repairs, and all techs do this
– Support the daily continuous improvements activities
– Enter all work completed/in progress into SAP work order system
– Any other duties as deemed necessary to support production
