Requirements
– Manually load and unload materials (up to 35 pounds) to and from pallets, trays, racks, baskets, and shelves repeatedly throughout the shift
– Wear all required PPE and follow safety protocols
Responsibilities
– Visually inspect and assemble parts to maintain quality standards
– Assemble specific parts to transfer cases to uphold the needs and scheduling of production
– Safely operate all equipment and machinery in department
– Use appropriate hold tags to process defective parts through nonconforming material procedure
– Basic computer skills to read and follow instructions when operating
– Use handheld gauges
– SAP entries and transactions required as needed
– Work well in a team environment
– Housekeeping activities as required in work station

Responsibilities
Material Handler will be expected to safely perform all tasks assigned by leadership including all positions within PC&L.
– Safely operates all equipment to which the individual is certified such as electric jacks and floor scrubbers
– Reads and understands work instructions and/or follows oral instructions to execute the material flow requirements
– Manually loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, baskets, and shelves on foot and by hand as required
– Support 5S/housekeeping activities as required
– Loads/unloads materials into trailers adhering to Dock Safety Protocol
– Adherence to FIFO standards throughout all storage areas and material flow points
– Wear all required PPE and follow box cutting safety protocols
