Industrial Maintenance Technician

Qualifications
– High school diploma or GED
– 3+ years’ industrial experience troubleshooting and debugging PLC control systems  OR 4-6 years military experience in maintenance, repair of instrument and controls system components
– Experience with connecting various communication protocols, such as Ethernet, Serial, etc.
– Knowledge of NEC codes and standards
– Working knowledge of Siemens drive and PLC software (preferred)
– Associate Degree in Applied Science – Mechatronics, Programming, Industrial Electronics Technology – OR
similar related industrial fields of study (preferred)

Responsibilities
Responsible for maintenance & repair of complex automotive manufacturing machinery & support equipment. Includes diagnosis, troubleshooting & repairs of breakdowns – as well as preventative & predictive measures.

– Proficient in diagnosing and correcting problems with automated PLC controlled machinery
– Experienced with VFD monitoring, troubleshooting and repair/replacement
– Proficient in performing component repairs, as well as preventative/predictive maintenance inspections
– Proficient with installation of new sensors and electrical components in a neat and workman like manner, in accordance with NEC code and applicable engineering drawings/standards
– Update equipment documentation, such as red-line electrical drawings, backup PLC programs, enter notes/history in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), etc.
– Record complete and accurate repair history into the CMMS software (MP2) for all work order repairs
– Provide daily feedback to planning on improvements to the PM and spare parts/BOM programs
– Proficient in failure analysis techniques in the field, such as 5-Why, for reliability centered maintenance
– Ability to follow strict safety procedures including “Lockout-Tagout”
– Responsible for having an awareness & understanding of the company’s commitment to ISO 14001 Quality Program

Additional Responsibilities 

– Familiar with (COGNEX) camera vision systems
– Familiar with basic (Epson & Fanuc) robotic machines
– Familiar with basic (Promess) measuring software
– Proactively navigate MP2 (CMMS) computer system, review open work order backlog and to make self-directed equipment inspections/repairs
– Familiar with and practice 5S philosophies

 

Manufacturing Production Technician – Team Lead

Qualifications
 – Ability to set up, operate, adjust and troubleshoot milling, turning and broaching machines to make parts to specifications requiring a high level of skill
– Knowledge of how one machining process can influences following operations downstream
– Basic mathematical skills as relates to machining set-up and operation
– Ability to use Microsoft Office suite
– Understanding of metric measurement system

Responsibilities

This position supports machining and manufacturing operations and is responsible for setting up and changing over CNC milling and turning production equipment. This position is also responsible for troubleshooting machine and process issues as a first line of defense against machine and process failures. Work is of the technical nature where independent judgment is used, and decisions are made within the limits of general practice policies. Works with minimal supervision.

 – Performs CNC set-up for milling and turning machines and verifies part conformance to drawing specifications
– Ensures that the output of the line is meeting overall equipment efficiency targets
– Evaluates causes of process variations and identifies probable causes; interaction with manufacturing engineering, quality and production supervision as necessary to confirm the causes and identify the appropriate corrective action to resolve unacceptable quality conditions
– Ensures the customers product requirements are met in all assigned areas
– Verifies product quality characteristics have been measured and documented using precision gaging and measurement equipment including calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.
– Monitor/adjust machining parameters and tool offsets used to make our products to specification
– Operates and adjusts automated milling and turning centers, where programs are provided and maintained by others
– Train and evaluate new operators within the machining line and process
– Ability to lead and direct operator activities
– Possess extended knowledge of machine operations, while using advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair minor technical issues
– Capable of following work instructions
– Performs tool changes as required within the machining line
– Perform periodic inspections of operator maintenance programs. Ensure production personnel are performing and documenting scheduled operator maintenance activities
– Follows defined OSHA safety and housekeeping policies

– Performs other duties as required and assigned

CNC Machine Operator

Qualifications
– Minimum 6 months CNC machining experience (required)
– Understanding of tolerances limits
– Basic understanding of industrial machines and gauges
– Knowledge of metric measurement systems
– Knowledge of basic mathematics skills including addition, subtractions, multiplication, and division
– Ability to read and write English
– Ability to read and understand component drawings

Responsibilities

This position has general responsibility for production related operations to manufacture drive shafts and components. Work may include the use of hand tools, gauges, fixtures, and CNC machinery. Typical operations would include loading and unloading of materials from machines, starting and stopping machine operation, tool change, light assembly such as attaching mechanical parts, bolts, or nuts, using defined methods.

– Machine operation in auto and manual cycles per the certification and/or work instructions

– Manual loading and unloading of production machines and part containers

– Use of various gauges to measure product characteristics

– Follows established standard operating procedures per the certifications and/or work instructions

– Assists in machine set-up and conformance to specifications

– Acquire training and certification per the Production Coordinator, Supervisor, or Line Manager
