HTI Honored at SC Chamber Safety Awards 2017

On Thursday, March 30, 2017, two of HTI’s off-site warehouse locations were honored at the 2017 South Carolina Chamber Safety Awards Luncheon. The event was held at the Columbia, SC Marriott and recognized companies in SC that had outstanding safety records for 2016. The awards are given to companies who achieve a commendable lost workday case rate for the year. This includes any occupational injury or illness that results in an employee being unable to work a full assigned work shift.
Nat Banks, Director of Sales and Marketing for HTI, described the event as “a time for some of the best companies in the state to get recognized for outstanding safety records. While our company is mid-sized, safety is still our priority in operations. Special thanks to our Safety Specialist, Bill Oeffinger, for applying for this award and maintaining the highest attention to safety across all of our sites.”
The HTI AFCO Warehouse and the HTI Welcome Rd Warehouse for Robert Bosch Corp were both honored.
