Packaging Operator:
– $18.24 – $19.49
Compounder:
– Starting Pay $21.50/hr
Set-up Operator:
– Starting Pay $22.00/hr
Maintenance Technician:
– $28.00 – $30.00

– 12 hour day shift
7:00am – 7:00pm

Leads and performs a variety of duties according to batch record and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) in the pharmaceutical manufacturing department, including but not limited to, operating machines and assisting in the packaging of products.
– 1-2 years manufacturing experience preferred
– Experience with changeovers and basic mechanical maintenance
– Ability to life 50 pounds repetitively
– Stable work history
– Ability to work 12 hours
– Able to stand for long periods of time
– Operates production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications
– Performs required work steps within specific cycle time
– Operates presses and other manual machinery including lathes, grinders, mills and similar equipment
– Performs frequent quality checks on finished parts
– Operates test equipment and interprets pass/fail data. Experience with SAP is a plus
– Able to operate and/or learn how to operate a variety of manufacturing equipment
– Ensures batch records, equipment log books, and other relevant records are completed correctly and currently
– Adheres to company uniform and gowning policies
– All other duties as assigned
– High School Diploma or equivalent
– Previous manufacturing experience in mixing, compounding or chemical operating
– Heavy lifting required
– Able to work in wet environments
– Expected to wear protective equipment including respirators
– Must be able to climb ladders and stairs
– Perform entry-level compounding
– Perform mixing operation while following detailed instructions
– Prepare for unloading of bulk material storage tanks
– Assure proper cleaning and storage of equipment
– Update raw material inventory records
– Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (training provided)
– HS Diploma or equivalent education required
– 1 or more years manufacturing experience
– 1 or more years basic mechanical
– Computer literacy
– Ability to listen and learn from more seasoned technicians
– Ability to perform in a team environment
– Open minded and flexible
– Ability to properly escalate downtime and other issues
– Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and both scheduled and unscheduled overtime
– Familiarity with all plant equipment safety requirements
– Working knowledge of company specific computer software (eInfotree, Blue Mountain, Antaresetc.)
– Firm grasp of cGMP and GDP methodology
– Ability to find and follow all company SOP’s
– Able to recognize unsafe situations and ask for help when they are found
– Firm grasp of the proper use of all hand tools
– Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical breakages
– Can complete line changeovers without assistance
– Can complete basic machine PM’s with assistance
– Operate and clean packaging line equipment
– Continuously assess equipment in operation to identify and eliminate repetitive minor stoppages that affect lines’ output
– Assist with SOP / Job Aids / Setup sheets development
– Suggest redesign of equipment of procedural changes to improve packaging processes
– Consistently escalates issues to more seasoned technicians for assistance
– Log-in and complete all assigned SOP’s and compliance trainings in eInfotree
– Perform any other tasks as assigned by Supervisor
– 1-3 years’ experience in a Maintenance Technician role. Working in a high-speed environment preferred
– High School Diploma or GED required. A technical degree or certificate in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, etc. is preferred
– Proficient in Microsoft Office software
– Basic working knowledge of hand tools and how to effectively use hand tools in a repair setting. Working knowledge of shop tools and repair equipment (i.e. drills, grinders, etc.)
– Ability to read and understand mechanical prints and drawings
– Familiar with cGMP and GDP practices and all equipment safety requirements
– Perform complete Pkg. line changes for every Pkg. line in the assigned location
– Display a working knowledge and understanding of basic mechanical and electrical applications
– Ability to perform in a fast pace and team environment. Ability to troubleshoot and repair all types of pumps and valves
– Advanced working knowledge of hand tools and how to effectively use hand tools in a repair setting
– Perform all maintenance repair functions throughout production and warehouse. Effectively troubleshoot minor electrical issues using basic electrical test equipment
– Work with other department leaders to complete continuous improvement initiatives
– Perform other related duties as required or assigned
