Tiers of Manufacturing

4.) Value-Added Services: This tier encompasses activities that add value beyond the physical product, such as customization, branding, and advanced services. It often involves processes like quality control, R&D, and product innovation.

 

5.) Support and Maintenance: This tier includes support services such as maintenance, repair, and after-sales support. It focuses on ensuring the longevity and efficiency of products and involves activities such as warranty services, technical support, and upgrades.
