Pay Rates: 
$18/hour plus $1.50 shift differential

Production Technician/Machine Operator (Lewistown) – 12 hour rotating or straight night shift – 6:30-6:30

Experience Required:
– High school diploma or GED
– Manufacturing/industrial experience
– Forklift experience for warehouse positions

Production Technicians/Paper & Converting Operators (McElhattan/Lock Haven)

Job Description:
Responsible for operating a machine in a safe, competent, efficient, and productive manner.

Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
– Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times
– Follows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelines
– Keeps a journal of the operation of the machine and troubleshooting that was done
– Maintains quality standards for the product
– Ensures the proper raw materials are in place and covered at the machine
– Keeps the machine and the surrounding area clean
– Performs the duties of a Line Leader when necessary
– Assists maintenance personnel as required
– Follow instructions of the Line Leader
– Assists with the training of other employees
– Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so

Physical Requirements:
– Walk / stand 100% of time during a 12–hour shift
– Constant bending throughout shift
– Frequent kneeling during shift
– Frequent climbing and reaching into machines to fix jams
– Occasional reaching overhead during shift
– Constant pushing and pulling with arms and legs throughout shift, including materials requiring up to 100 pounds of force to maneuver
– Constant lifting or carrying of boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
– Constant use of hands and occasional use of foot control
– Constant light and firm grasping with hands throughout shift
– Operation of forklifts, hand trucks, roll manipulators, baler, and compactor throughout shift
– Daily sweeping and organizing floor and work area
– Required participation in a daily pre-shift warm-up routine

Warehousers (McElhattan/Lock Haven/Lewistown)

Job Description:
Responsible for calculating accurate tallies of finished goods and raw materials and supplying it to production when it is needed.

Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

– Calculates accurate tallies and documentation during the loading, unloading, and warehouse process
– Inspects all equipment used on a daily basis and report defects to Management
– Maintains an efficient product flow throughout the warehouse operation
– Maintains good housekeeping of the warehouse area
– Provides accurate and legible paperwork to maintain an accurate database
– Insures the integrity and accuracy of all inventories on a daily basis
– Observe all safety rules and use proper safety equipment at all times
– Insure the quality of the palletized product and store it in accordance to warehouse policies and procedures
– Assist in the performance of preventative maintenance
– Provide accurate and legible documentation of any issues and concerns
– Provide accurate and legible documentation of product changes
– Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so
– Ability to operate a forklift
– Ability to work in a fast paced environment
– Ability to work in a team oriented environment
– Ability to operate computer equipment
– Ability to communicate orally and written

Physical Requirements:

– Walk / stand 100% of time during a 12–hour shift
– Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting throughout shift
– Occasional reaching overhead during shift
– Frequent pushing and pulling with arms throughout the shift, including materials requiring up to 10 pounds of force to maneuver
– Frequent lifting or carrying of boxes weighing up to 30 lbs. or material weighing up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist, and waist to shoulder
– Constant use of hands and occasional use of foot control
– Constant light and firm grasping with hands throughout shift
– Operation of hand trucks, powered industrial equipment throughout shift
– Continuous housekeeping by sweeping and organizing floor and work area

Production Technicians/Machine Operators (Lewistown)

Job Description:
Responsible for operating a machine in a safe, competent, efficient, and productive manner.

Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

– Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times
– Follows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelines
– Maintains quality standards for the products
– Ensures proper raw material verification, handling, and usages
– Keeps the machine and the surrounding area clean
– Performs the duties of a Lead Operator when necessary
– Assists maintenance personnel as required
– Follow instructions of the Lead Operator
– Assists with the training of other employees
– Assist other lines as needed
– Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so
– Completes changeovers and some mechanical tasks
– Completes process clean-up as required or needed
– Uses MES, QW, eQCM, and other computer programs
– Functional capability to understand Vision, product details, waste reasons and reactions, resulting in ability to manage operation of line

Physical Requirements:

– Walk/stand 100% of time during a 12-hour shift
– Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling and squatting throughout shift
– Occasional climbing and reaching into machines to fix jams
– Occasional reaching overhead during shift

Maintenance Technicians (Lewistown)

Job Description:
Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and adjusting all mechanical equipment, machinery and components.

Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

– Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times
– Follows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations
– Repairs all mechanical components of all equipment as required
– Troubleshoots and analyzes mechanical and operational issues on all equipment and takes required corrective action to resolve these issues
– Operates all machines so that maintenance, changeovers, and adjustments can be tested when complete
– Performs preventive maintenance and lubrication on all equipment
– Performs changeovers on all equipment
– Maintains a clean and orderly work area
– Performs preventive/predictive maintenance checks and inspections of assigned equipment and reports findings promptly
– Shares knowledge and techniques with team members and assists with training
– Attends all training seminars provided by the company when applicable
– Completes paperwork correctly and submits in a timely fashion
– Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so

Physical Requirements:

– Walk / stand 100% of time during a 12–hour shift
– Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, crawl throughout shift
– Occasional climbing and reaching into machines to fix jams
– Occasional reaching overhead during shift
– Frequent pushing and pulling with arms throughout the shift, including materials requiring up to 75 pounds of force to maneuver
– Frequent lifting or carrying of 10 – 20 lbs but occasional lifting/carrying which could including a two person lift of 100 lbs. from floor to waist, waist to shoulder, and shoulder to overhead
– Constant use of hands and occasional use of foot control
– Constant light and firm grasping with hands throughout shift
– Operation of cranes, hoists, hand trucks, roll manipulators, powered industrial trucks throughout shift
– Continuous housekeeping by sweeping and organizing floor and work area
