Job Openings and Pay Rates

– Material Handlers: $17 – 18.70/hour
– Warehouse Shipping and Receiving: $17 – 18.70/hour
– Warehouse Picking and Packing: $17 – 18.70/hour

Shifts Available

– 1st shift (5 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.)
– 2nd shift (1:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.)

Material Handlers

Requirements

– High school diploma or equivalent
– Must be able to identify differences in products to insure accurate and quality product is delivered
– Demonstrated computer skills to include proficiency working in SAP WMS, RF scanning technology, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems and software as necessary
– Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
– Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
– Obtain proper licensing as required for industrial equipment (forklift, electric pallet jacks, and man-up vehicles)
– Able to frequently lift at least 40 lbs. and stand/walk 95% of the time
– Able to kneel, bend over and reach as required
– Able to identify, analyze, and resolve problems
– Prior logistics experience is desired

Responsibilities

– Coordinate the requirements of the following; receiving, pickup/delivery of line side or finished good material, packing or shipping to ensure customer satisfaction
– Works with a variety of parts, products or materials from standard boxes, crates or other containers
– Requires knowledge of warehouse operations including RF scanning, administrative requirements, company policies, and team procedures
– Performs job functions based on daily demand in a safe secure way according to standard work instructions
– Maintain visual management boards, charts, logbooks, databases and other records as required
– Inform and work with appropriate associates to resolve any issue with equipment, components or systems
– Drive continuous improvement through involvement in the Bright Ideas program
– Operates industrial equipment (forklift, electric pallet jacks, and man-up vehicles)
– Manage all product flow using SAP and other documentation as necessary
– Identify, analyze, and resolve BPS system issues
– Maintain 5S system in work area, Cycle Count as required

Warehouse Shipping and Receiving

Requirements

– High school diploma or equivalent
– Able to operate a RFID scanner
– Must be able to learn/identify differences in series of products to insure accurate and quality product is delivered to value stream
– Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
– High level of associate involvement, teamwork, initiative
– Able to frequently lift at least 30lbs; able to stand and walk 90% of working time
– Strong commitment to customers, both internal and external (customer-focused)
– Strive for continuous improvement of oneself and the surrounding work environment
– Effective communication and interaction with fellow associates
– Ability to function in a team environment with little supervision

Responsibilities

– Ships, receives, issues and pick material
– Manages all product flow using SAP and other documentation as necessary
– Opens inbound material packaging, verifies part numbers, and quantities of inbound material
– Puts verified parts in specified location for storage, transport to plant (milk run), or quality inspection
– Operates industrial equipment (forklift, tugger, electric pallet jacks, and man-up vehicles)
– Identifies, counts, transfers store components and finished goods using current inventory control systems
– Develops and feedbacks ideas for improvements and assists with implementation
– Operates industrial equipment (forklift, tugger, electric pallet jacks, and man-up vehicles)
– Maintains 5S system in work area

Warehouse Picking and Packing

Requirements

– High school diploma or equivalent
– Able to operate a RFID scanner
– Able to navigate computer systems and operate a printer
– Able to frequently lift at least 30 lbs.
– Able to stand and walk 90% of working time
– Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
– High level of associate involvement, teamwork, initiative
– Strong commitment to customers, both internal and external (customer-focused)
– Strive for continuous improvement of oneself and the surrounding work environment
– Effective communication and interaction with fellow associates
– Ability to function in a team environment with little supervision

Responsibilities  

– Coordinate the requirements of shipping to ensure customer satisfaction
– Packs variety of parts, products or materials in standard boxes, crates or other containers for shipment or storage
– Requires knowledge of warehouse operations, administrative requirements, company policies, and team procedures
– Pack material in a safe secure way according to standard work instructions
– Maintain visual management boards, charts, logbooks, databases and other miscellaneous records as required
– Inform and work with appropriate associates to resolve any issue with equipment, components or systems
– Drive continuous improvement through involvement in the Bright Ideas program
– May operate industrial equipment (forklift, electric pallet jacks, and man-up vehicles), to prepare and send final products to customers
– May load /unload trucks in shipping and receiving lanes
– Manage all product flow using SAP and other documentation as necessary
– Identify, analyze and resolve BPS system issues
– Maintain 5S system in work area
– Cycle Count as required
